Mohammed Abdullah Bu Tayban
Chairman of the Sharia Committee
Mohammed Abdullah Bu Tayban is the Chairman of the Sharia Committee, with a distinguished background in comparative jurisprudence and legal advisory. He holds a PhD in Comparative Jurisprudence (2014) and a Master’s in Comparative Jurisprudence (2006) from the Higher Judicial Institute in Saudi Arabia, along with a Bachelor’s in Sharia from the College of Sharia at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University (1999). Additionally, he earned a Fellowship in Legal Advisory from the Scientific Society of Judiciary in 2022. His professional experience includes serving as Vice President of the Rasou Association for Personality Building and Partnerships Supervisor at the Mutab bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Foundation, both starting in 2024. From 2019 to 2022, he chaired the Waqf Committee at the Chamber of Commerce, and from 2015 to 2022, he was the Executive Director of the Baqaa Endowment Foundation. Mohammed’s board memberships include his current roles as a Member of the Sharia Committee at Al-Riyadh Bank and Khazana Financing Company, both beginning in 2024.

Mansour Ali Alqudah
Member of the Sharia Committee
Mansour Ali Muhammad Alqudah serves as a Member of the Sharia Committee with extensive expertise in Islamic economics and banking. He holds a PhD in Islamic Economics and Banking (2009), a Master’s in Islamic Economics (1998), and a Bachelor’s in Islamic Jurisprudence and Studies (1995), all from Yarmouk University, Jordan. His professional experience includes his current role as Head of the Sharia Department and Internal Sharia Auditor at Bank Nizwa in Muscat, Oman, since 2017. Previously, he served as Assistant Director of the Sharia Group and Manager of Policy and Procedure Control at Alinma Bank in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 2008 to 2017, and worked with the Islamic International Arab Bank – Dallah Al Baraka Banking Group in Jordan from 1999 to 2008. Mansour also holds board memberships as a Member of the Sharia Committee at Sulfa Financing Company since 2023 and as a member of the Siraj Educational Endowment Institution in Oman starting in 2024.
